Jim has nearly 20 years of professional experience in marketing and advertising as an operating leader, client and new-business champion and industry advisor. Formerly president and COO of AKQA, Jim was responsible for all service delivery, client relationships, and business development and resource management. In serving clients, selling business and enhancing allaspects of the agency’s operations, he played a critical role in the planning, decision- making, and execution of AKQA’s overall strategic plan.
Before joining AKQA, Jim served as COO of Digitas where he was responsible for the agency’s investment planning, resourcing and operating activities. In addition, Jim managed the agency’s new-business efforts and senior client relationships at General Motors and American Express. Prior to Digitas, Jim held various management roles at Young & Rubicam — and their global response-marketing network, Wunderman.
Mr. Rossman holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he concentrated in Marketing and Strategy. He is a standing member of the Digital Task Force for WNYC (New York Public Radio).
