Mobile Video Extended Play

Distribute your extended content across all screens — and engage viewers everywhere — by leveraging the reach of Tremor Video's inventory. Viewers watch :15/:30 of your video ad, with the option to continue to watch the entire video (up to five minutes), without ever leaving the ad format. Now, your extended content can run across all publishers in the Tremor Video network without the constraints of :60 ad inventory.

The bug can be positioned anywhere on top of the extended content video after the viewer has opted-in. The bug can be animated and can appear by fading in or sliding in. The bug is custom-shaped so it does not cover important sections of the video, and it should not exceed 20% of the video size.

Viewer Experience

  • Extended content video (up to 5 minutes) begins play.
  • An overlay trigger appears in the top right corner.
  • Rolling over or clicking on the overlay continues the extended content video. For Mobile, the video must restart.
  • If there is no viewer interaction, an end slate appears for the last five seconds of the ad (:30 or :15) with buttons to click to the extended content video or skip to publisher content.
  • If viewers choose to watch extended ad content, one interactive feature can be included.

Options

Advertisers may showcase two separate videos: a 15 or :30 Pre-Roll with a different long-form video as the extended play.

Drive click-through rate with one custom click-through URL, which appears on the overlay.

Social share features are also available.

Execution Timeline

  • Allow one week for execution, from delivery of assets
  • Creative calls with client are recommended
  • 4-day timeline for creative build
  • Any major creative change during the campaign flight requires an additional 3-4 day build time

The bug can incorporate a single interactive feature

 

Third-Party Tracking Specifications

To track impressions and clicks, please provide the following:

  • Log-in credentials for third-party vendors
  • A 1x1 tracking pixel to track impressions
  • A click tag to track clicks to a destination page
  • If using DART, standard DART tracking tags and click commands are preferred. If using a different vendor, please contact your Tremor Video Account Manager for details. iFrame, iLayer, JavaScript, or internal redirect tags are not accepted.

Note: When a third-party serves the ad, user-initiated sound settings cannot be configured by the advertiser; that setting is always configured by the publisher that requests the ad.
