Tremor Video Helps Brands Share Engaging, Immersive Video Experience With Super Pre-Roll Takeover Ad Unit

Cost Per Engagement Pricing Marries Powerful Video Creative With Consumer Choice Across The Largest Independent Network

DreamWorks “Real Steel” motion picture is the first advertiser to use the highly engaging unit in a campaign.

Super Pre-Roll Takeover units expand beyond the video player window to fill the majority of a viewer’s screen, but only when the viewer engages with the creative. Leads Privacy Education Initiative With Interactive Pre-roll Public Service Announcement

New York, NY, October 12, 2011 – Tremor Video, the largest independent online video technology company, has rolled out a privacy solution within its in-stream video network, making it the first company to implement the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) Advertising Option icon and accompanying “AdChoices” text for pre-roll and third party served in-stream ads.

Industry self-regulation to date has focused on display advertising, and Tremor Video’s solution comes ahead of any industry-wide standard for in-stream video. In addition to in-stream pre-roll, the company serves the AdChoices icon within advanced interactive video formats and in-banner ads.

As part of its continued commitment to the online advertising industry’s self-regulatory privacy program, which is being managed by the DAA, Tremor Video has also produced and launched the first public service announcement (PSA), in interactive video form, to educate consumers about the AdChoices icon.
